What is my Pupillary Distance (PD)?

This is the measured distance between your eyes.  The measurement is used to centre your lenses correctly in your chosen  spectacle frames.  Most opticians will not provide this information on your prescription to try and prevent you from making a purchase online. If you do not have this measurement please leave it as default when placing your order with us. We will then use an average measurement to make your spectacles.

Average papillary distance measurements work well for most customers.  Occassionally customers may experience discomfort or eye strain when using spectacles made using an average papillary distance measurement.  This will not cause any damage or harm your eyes.  However, if you do experience any difficulty please contact us so that we can either remake your spectacles or arrange a full refund.
